A little bit about Mrs. Luoma...
Education:
- B.S. Elementary Education, Edinboro University
- Certified K-8 Teacher
-10+ Hours of continuing Eduction per Year
Experience:
I started out teaching 5TH grade for Columbus Public Schools. I have worked as a substitute for both Columbus and Copley, and then taught 3rd through 5th grades at a distance learning school in Akron for 2 years befor I had my first child. After my son was born, I became a a stay at home mom and had my daughter in 2009. During that time, I kept current on my coursework and maintained an Ohio Teaching Certificate, had been president of the MOMS club of CF, held board positions for the DeWitt Elementary School PTA, and worked as a preschool aid.
My time as a preschool aid revealed to me a deep love of working in he field of Early Childhood Education, so when I finally returned to teaching, I did so as a preschool teacher!
Why I do what I do:
There is nothing more rewarding than being an Early Childhood Education Professional! I love teaching and getting to see young minds grasp new concepts and abilities. Little ones have such a zest for life and learning, and my desire is to help them develop a life-long love of learning that will provide a solid base from which to grow and succeed as they enter their elementary school years and beyond.

A little bit about Mrs. Sullivan...
Education:
High School Graduate and over 80 hours of continuing education in child development and related subjects.
Experience:
I have worked a total of 19 years with children at different preschools, and day care centers. I will be starting my 17th year at Weekday Preschool in September. I have also been a Girl Scout leader for the past 25+ years. I have worked with girls from kindergarten through high school.
Why I do what I do:
I enjoy working at the preschool because it is so enjoyable to watch children learn. At this age they are so eager to learn. I love how no two days are ever the same and that something different happens every day to make it new and exciting.
